My husband and I are heading to Los Angeles for another wedding this weekend! Our dear friend Peter will be getting married this Saturday! Before Helen & Peter exchange vows, they will have a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony to show respect for their families. I decided to make an Asian inspired wedding card incorporating their ceremony and colors. Do you like the bride's cheongsam?!
Meesh's Recipe
- Core'dinations Gemstone Card Stock
- Cosmo Cricket Card Stock
- Stampin' Up Card Stock
- Cuttlebug Mandarin Screen, Plum Blossoms, & Swiss Dots Embossing Folder
- Martha Stewart Gemstones
- Celebrate It Ribbon
- My Pink Stamper "Family & Friends" Stamps
- Stampin' Up Craft Ink
- Cricut "Create a Critter & Pagoda" Cartridge
Such a CUTE card! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely adorable! I am going to send this post to my fiance. I don't know if I'm going to have to wear the cheongsam and do the whole tea ceremony when I get married next May, but this makes the sound of it almost bearable! (I'm not opposed to it; I just don't want it forced on me during the reception when we only have the place for 4 hrs ... I'll do it any other time or day!)
