My dear friend Jen is a big fan and wanted me to make her a card! She recently purchased a new stove, it's about time! If she's not Turbo Kickboxing or making trips to Yogurtland, you'll find her in the kitchen! Whether it's baking red velvet cupcakes or making chocolate lava cake in her crock pot, her new stove will definitely make some empty tummies happy! I improvised and made her stove glittery aqua, why not?!
My MIL was an amazing host while my husband and I were visiting her home away from home in Meridian, Idaho! It felt like we were at a Bed & Breakfast! We enjoyed family time, especially sitting on the porch and reading. We had some wonderful meals at home and some yummy late night snacks. Her ramen definitely hit the spot! We can't thank her enough for her hospitality and patience when I made her stop at every craft store! What could be more fitting than a happy bowl of noodles?
It was so nice to get away from San Francisco for a little while! My MIL has a home away from home in Meridian! I enjoyed spending time with family and making late-night trips to Walmart! It was quite dangerous, having a 24-hour Walmart within one mile away. Especially when Cricut Lite cartridges live there! I confess, I added four new lites to my collection. It definitely felt like heaven stumbling upon craft store after craft store! I discovered Craft Warehouse & Hobby Lobby for the first time! Unfortunately none reside in California. I was a "kid in a candy store!" Crafting is definitely BIG in Idaho! Where should I begin? I found some Cuttlebug Embossing Plus items, exclusive Paper Studio products, and so much more! To my surprise I stayed within budget! I went there with a half empty suitcase and returned with it full of craft candy!
Blogging from the road, we just drove through Oregon and we're heading towards Winnemucca! Emma from My Creative Time started "Throwback Thursdays" recently! I decided to use a retired cartridge for this project! Paper Pups is definitely for Dog Lovers! My husband's cousin just turned 14 and she lovesdogs!

Blogging from Boise, Idaho! Today I went to Craft Warehouse for the first time, it was "heaven!" I will definitely be making more trips there this week! Here is another Father's Day project, this time it was for my Dad! He loves Asian Art especially Chinese Dragons. I added some bold colors and embossed the background with a Mandarin screen to give it some texture!
I am attending a Hello Kitty Birthday party this weekend! Special girl is the lucky niece of my dear friends Greg & Jamie! If you didn't know, I am a HUGE fanof Hello Kitty! Jamie from Coquette Events has a lot in store, games and treats galore! I promised her I would participate in all the games, she didn't have to twist my arm! Happy 3rd Birthday Vanessa!
I have been working on quite a few projects over the weekend! My Father's Day projects seem to be the most fun! My FIL has two aquariums filled with fishies! He doesn't have a name for any of them but I've personally named some on my own! Meet Goldie #2! Goldie #1 resides in my own aquarium!
As mentioned before, Provo Craft will be releasing 100 new Cricut cartridges this year! Coming July 1st, there will be "Cricut Lite" cartridges sold exclusively by Walmart. Did I mention 24 lite cartridges will be released at one time?! My wallet needs a lock and I need to throw away the key! Here are my must haves! B is for Boy

What is the difference between a Full Cricut and Cricut Lite cartridge? A "Full Cricut" cartridge contains 6 creative feature keys and can hold up to 600+ images. A "Cricut Lite" cartridge contains 1 creative feature key (layers) and can hold up to 50+ images.
Some Walmarts are stocking their shelves with Cricut Lites already! I am hitting my first Walmart this Sunday! Can't wait to get my hands on these and work on some fun projects! Stay tuned!
Update: I'm missing Hoot n' Holler from my must haves!
My husband Neil is undoubtedly my #1 Fan! After watching me spend countless hours in my craft room, he decided to network for "Meesh's Pieces" after I launched my Blog in May! His work colleague contacted him and asked if I was willing to design 3 projects for her! I said YESof course, I was very flattered! My assignment was to create a Taylor Swift, Sea Turtle, & Christening card! Enjoy!
Love her metallic guitar and shoes!
I used my new Cuttlebug "Bubbles" Embossing Folder!

I received wonderful feedback from my client! "OMG!! The cards are fabulous, they are all REALLY beautiful....I can see that you put so much work into each of them, thank you sincerely! I'll look forward to delivering each of them, they feel so special!"
My dear friend Jamie came by to craft yesterday! She has been interested in Scrapbooking but needed some inspiration! With supplies in tow, she tackled my Cricut Expression and chose the cutest images to cut. She did a wonderful job and I can't wait to see how her Scrapbook turns out!
Jamie wanted chic, fun-flirty images for her Bachelorette Party layout! I love the heels with the pink poms! The colors & textures look perfect together! Keep up the creative side of you, J!
Our dear friends Jim & Michelle will be getting married this Saturday! We can't wait to celebrate with them! My husband Neil works with Jim and the first thing he told me was, Jim is a surfer, too cool! I had the opportunity to meet Michelle and she is the sweetest person who also fights for space on her Tivo just like me! Featuring Indy, Jim, Michelle, and Abby!
Every Bride needs bling! Do you see her pearl earrings & diamond engagement ring?
I had the opportunity to create Floral centerpieces this past Saturday for Felicia's Graduation! She told me what flowers she liked, her favorite colors, and gave me a budget! At first, I thought orange & red would be hard to find in the Summer but I was definitely wrong! After bargain hunting, I found peonies, tulips, french tulips, and mini callas in shades of orange & red! I also used Belles of Ireland to add a hint of green! I cleaned & prepped all the flowers and stored them in vases before I started. Flowers are so dirty!
After countless hours (just a few) I completed my first ever Floral centerpieces! I added glass marbles and organza ribbon with some rhinestone embellishments to give it a "Meesh" touch!
